In America, racism is a topic that has been discussed for many years. Many people believe it’s just a part of the past and no longer an issue in modern society. However, those who have been discriminated against know better than anyone else how alive racism still is today. Racism can be seen all throughout our society from schools to workplaces to communities.
Racist discrimination affects all aspects of life for minorities in this country. We need to talk about it more openly and honestly with each other at home, work or school instead of ignoring the problem altogether it’s time we stop shying away from confronting racism head on so that its legacy can be permanently erased from society.
